Annual Boys Sleepover

This year’s sleepover will be held on Friday July 4th.

Before the sleepover we will be meeting for a beach day at Petrie Island any time after 2 pm and games will take place from 2 pm to 5 pm. Bring any water guns, buckets, or anything else you might have that would make for a water fight of epic proportions!

Afterward the beach we will meet back at the club at 5:30 pm. In case of inclement weather conditions in the forecast a message will be posted on the blog no later than 9 pm on Thursday night canceling the beach portion of the day.

Pizza will be served at 6:30 pm along with light snacks. There is no cost to attend this event, but additional healthy sugar free snacks brought in by parents would be greatly appreciated. Please let David know in advance whether you plan on contributing anything.

If your son is not staying for the sleepover please ensure that he is picked up by 10:00 pm, after that time the doors will be locked until morning.  Everyone is welcome to sleepover.  Coaches will be staying overnight to supervise. Pick up in the morning is between 8:00 am and 8:30 am.

Please remember to bring:
- Pajamas, etc
- Pillow
- Sleeping bag
- Toothbrush & toothpaste
- Please no toys or video games

This year we will need 2 male parent volunteers to stay the night as well as 2 parent volunteers to stay for the beach activities. If you are able and willing to do so please contact David via email.

Tumblers Classic Volunteer Oppourtinities

The annual Tumblers Classic WAG Invitational is quickly approaching, and we are now at the point where we are sending out a call for volunteers. The biggest fundraiser of the year is always our hosted competitions. Once again we are hosting the annual Tumblers Classic March 21st to 23rd.

We realise that this year's meet coincides with the MAG qualifier in Kitchener-Waterloo the same weekend, but since volunteers are very important for the success of this event please make sure you have set aside time for that weekend or that you've found someone (friends of family, teenagers requiring volunteer hours for high-school, coaches, etc) who can complete your required volunteer hours in your place. We're giving priority to families with athletes in the MAG program to secure their volunteer slots via online sign-up before we post the sign-up sheets in the lobby

Below you will find a link to the online sign-up sheets which will only be available until Monday march 3rd, at which point they will be posted in the lobby. Please remember that you need to do two meet shifts per family as per the athlete agreement. You may only sign up for up to two meets shifts at this time. Should you wish to take more time slots in order to fulfill general volunteer hours, you may do so once the sign-up sheets have been posted in the lobby.

Sign-Up Closed

Please note: There are two pages of sign-up sheets included in the document workbook with tabs to navigate between the two to be found on the bottom of the screen.
